A Points Bank?

Hi,
I had an idea about a point bank. I've heard that sometimes points are reset, and so why couldn't we have some sort of bank to put some of our points, that might earn a little interest on the points, you know, maybe 3000 or 4000 a week or something?
Also, if you created a bank, why not have it so people could get a lone for points, and then pay it back later?
Just throwing this out there, so maybe we can see what others think.
Thanks,
Steerman

but why would you wanna loan points? There's really no need for it.

Well? I don't know, but a real bank, you see, can lone money, so if we create a bank on here, why couldn't it lone points?

What would you sign away as collateral on your loan? I don't think there are any virtual currency or virtual token systems online that do loans. The only thing they do allow is the purchase of tokens with hard currency.

Yes, but if it's just points, and they're only your money to use on games, what does it matter if there are any virtual token systems that do lones online or not?

I like the idea, it's unique.

Maybe you could negotiate with someone about the principle and rate of a loan. No colateral would be needed because the site owns your points. No question of paying, if you had the points or until you did.

Brings out the dirty capitalist in me.

okay:
here are my thoughts:

agreeing with what someone else said, why would you want to loan points?

even if you could, what if people abuse the system- and never give the points back?

i do like the idea of storing the points though, that's great. you could take say 1000 out of the bank to play with, and keep the rest in. so if you lose, you won't lose all the points

just not sure on the loans

Hi,
Yes, I sure do like the idea of a bank.
People might use and abuse the lone system, so why not have a limit on that, say 23000000 or something, and maybe after a week, have it gain interest if they haven't payed it back?
Just an idea.

I'm with Dan. Loaning points seems kind of pointless, haha, no pun intended, but having a bank to store them where you could earn a small amount of interest if you don't touch them for more than a month, or something like that, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to. Having said that, there is kind of a way you can invest your points in Pick3, and then get them back, if you buy enough tickets to insure you'll end up buying the winning one. it's not the same, but I've done it that way before.

Hi,
I'm against the leaving them for a month thing. I think a week is better.

my thoughts. First, when you log in, you get interest on your points, so that already exists.
Second, why in the wourld would we loan points? Seriously, its easy to get points. Its not like they're gold and you have to sell your first-born child for them. They're just points, and the only thing you can do with them is buy raffles that your probably not going to win, and if what I've heard is correct, are rarely drawn.
That's like starting a bank for rocks, they're rocks, you can go in your backyard and get them, they have no value. If you want points, play a game and win, its really not that difficult. If your afraid yuor going to lose all of your points, don't bet all your points; also, really not that difficult.
I completely and utterly fail to understand all the hype about the points, they are entirely pointless. You can't buy anything with them, trade them for anything, exchange them for anything, build anything with them, or do anything else with them except play the games. As a currency, they are incredibly weak. Why does everyone keep making board posts about what we could do with such a useless and, if I may use the pun, pointless currency?

silver lightning, i agree to your comment to this post.
and steerman, hi-lo is not quite difficult to play.
just do'nt bet to much just a small bet of 2 is already good enough. try to win on that bet? well, guess carefully and you make a great start off to a cool 200000000. i hope you like my advice follow that and you are a winner.
hope this wil help you get started..
note: take my comment as tutorial, betting all your points and then loose them all is silly yes i think so.
this are my toughts.

yeah well, things like hogwarts live are diffrent.

the reason they invited banks was because it's part of the game, and so you could store cash when you are not using it
